The European Commission has set a date for the opening of all borders

Members of the European Union has weakened border controls.

The European Commission considers that all member countries of the EU should cancel its border restrictions due to pandemic coronavirus before the end of this month, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to Browser.

This was stated by the European Commissioner for home Affairs Yulva Johansson.

“We came very close to a situation where we need to remove all internal border restrictions and border checks. A good date should be the end of June,” she said.

According to Johansson, the situation COVID-19 “rapidly improving” and she is glad to see that the members of the European Union has weakened border controls.

So, at present, European countries gradually abolished their internal limitations, some of them started to open the border in recent days. For example, Italy has done it since the beginning of June, whereas most other are planning to open in the middle of this month – among them France, Belgium, Germany, Greece, Austria, Netherlands and Czech Republic.
