G20 countries will send $21 billion to combat coronavirus

The money will be spent on diagnostics, vaccines, treatment, and research and development.

“The G20 together with the invited countries coordinating global efforts to combat the pandemic COVID-19. To date, G20 members and invited countries have pledged more than $21 billion in support of funding for global health,” the statement said.

These funds will be directed to diagnostics, vaccines, treatment, and research and development.
