20-year-old Swede Armand Duplantis broke the record of the Ukrainian Sergei Bubka in the high jump with a sixth in open arenas, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to the Apostrophe.
Duplantis has overcome a height of 6 meters 17 centimeters, surpassing the achievement of the Ukrainian athlete, which was held in 1993. Then Bubka jumped over the bar set at a height of 6 meters 14 centimeters.
The record took place on tournament in the Polish city of Torun. A few days ago, Duplantis almost broke the record Bubka at the tournament in Dusseldorf, but, jumping the bar, he still caught her arm.
