The Chinese company demands payment from Verizon for illegal use of a dozen of its patents.
Huawei filed a lawsuit in Federal district court of Texas against one of the biggest U.S. operators Verizon, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to the Correspondent.
Huawei has accused Verizon of illegally using tens of patented telecommunications developments of the Chinese company and demanded compensation. The amount has to be determined in court.
It is noted that during January, the parties met several times in USA to discuss the issue but did not come to his decision.
The claim documents it is alleged that Verizon without a license uses Huawei technology in several of its applications, including routers and corporate services.
A representative from Verizon called the lawsuit “a publicity stunt”.
