Appeared statistics for January.
In January of this year the Ukrainian market of new cars increased by 35% compared to the same period of 2019. We also learned about the car that Ukrainians bought more often, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to Browser.
Probably the increase is due to stronger local currency and attractive deals from importers. In addition, at the end of last year in Ukraine there were some interesting novelties. Only in January was 7.1 thousand sold new cars
With a score of 1207 was new cars (17% market share) leader in January was Toyota. The Japanese brand is almost two times improved last year’s result for the same period. The most popular model was predictable compact crossover Toyota RAV4 with 513 sold copies.
Demonstrating more than 30% growth (1055 auto) in second place is the company Renault, and the third related Nissan with a score of 529 registered cars in January 2020.
In fourth place was Skoda with 466 cars (+ 37%), the fifth – Kia, which sold 436 vehicles (+ 12%). Later in the January top ten most popular brands located Hyundai (362 units, + 8%), Volkswagen (323 units, + 18%), Mercedes (269 units, + 84%), Peugeot (264 PCs., + 144%) and Mitsubishi (235 units, + 33%).
As you can see, all the brands in the top ten demonstrated a significant sales growth in comparison with January 2019. In this respect it is worth noting the absolute leader of the first month of 2020, the company “Toyota” for the 91-percent growth, “Mercedes” for 84% and Peugeot, which increased sales by a remarkable 144%.
At the moment the results look very optimistic, as sales of new cars in Ukraine have not demonstrated such growth. However, these statistics still should be secured further results.
