Ukrainians, who can visit the Schengen area for bizwise, the changes will not be affected.
In the countries of the Schengen Convention, where the Ukrainians will soon be even easier to get, in force, agreed in June last year, new rules for filing of documents for obtaining short-term visas, reports the Chronicle.info with reference for Today.
As the press service of the European Commission, applications for Schengen visas can be submitted not three months as before, and for half a year. Besides, it can be done in the country of residence of the applicant in electronic form.
But, if necessary, to be fingerprinted (i.e. every 59 months), the applicant will have to contact the Consulate or the visa Bureau in person.
It also eased the conditions for obtaining a multiple-entry visa: for foreigners who do not violate the rules of entry to the Schengen area, validity of such visas will increase gradually from one year to five years.
In addition, against the background of inflation for the first time in 14 years increased the visa fee from 60 to 80 Euro. However, for citizens of countries that signed the EU agreement on simplified visa fee will remain at 35 euros.
These rules will affect 105 countries, which require visas to visit the Schengen area, which includes 22 EU countries and four associated States: Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland.
