With the beginning of the year net purchase of foreign currency by the National Bank on the interbank market amounted to $5 billion.
The national Bank of Ukraine during the week 25-29 November bought on the interbank currency market at $184 million, $64 million more than the previous week ($120 million). This was reported on the NBU website on Sunday, 1 December, reports the online edition of the Chronicle.info with reference to the Correspondent.
According to the regulator, he does not sell currency in the interbank market for six consecutive weeks. With the beginning of the year, the NBU bought currency on the interbank market for $5479,30 million and sold for $479,23 million
Thus, from the beginning of 2019, the net purchase of currency by the national Bank amounted to $5 billion.
