Monetary base in Ukraine decreased

So, as of August 1, the monetary base amounted to 436,347 billion hryvnia, while, in June she was at 445,085 billion.

With the beginning of the year the monetary base grew by 0.1% 435,798 billion.

Money supply in July increased by 1.8% from 1 288,974 billion on 1 July until 1 312,722 billion on 1 August, with the beginning of the year increased by 2.7% from 1 277,6 billion.

The volume of cash in circulation, according to the operative data of the NBU, in July decreased by 0.3% with 359,157 billion on July 1 to 357,941 billion on 1 August.

Since the beginning of year the volume of cash decreased by 1.6% 363,629 billion. And at the end of last year, the national Bank announced the monetary base growth.
